Samvid P., PhD student in Civil & Environmental Engineering at UH, has been awarded the Paul and Helen Lenchuk Engineering Student Scholarship by the NCMA Foundation for 2025–2026!

His research explores how masonry walls withstand hurricanes and storm surges — using advanced simulations and flume experiments to shape the future of coastal building codes and resilience planning. 🌊🏗️
