CIVE 6353 Prestressed Concrete Class Visits Flexicore

Undergraduate and graduate students from our CIVE 6353 Prestressed Concrete Class visited Flexicore of Texas today. Students had the opportunity to connect with precast experts and the Executive Director of Precast Concrete Manufacturers’ Association (PCMA). The plant tour involved several demonstrations, such as evaluation of concrete strength at early age, detailing of reinforcement of precast members, demonstration of prestressing, and many other activities.
